| First, a message from our friend Sue, the person we know will make a great City Councilor:
"I also welcome you to our website, and let me note at the beginning how much I appreciate everyone who encouraged me to run and are now actively working for this campaign.
Since growing up in the Whittier neighborhood of Sioux Falls and throughout the years since, I have always believed Sioux Falls to be a great place to live and raise a family. That is why my husband Rich and I live here, and raised our daughters - Jessica and Meghan - here as well.
I believe in the importance of giving a full measure of service to our community. Whether serving in a leadership role for United Way, as a past member of the School Board, or helping organize and lead taxpayer coalitions to better our community; after my family, nothing has been more important and rewarding to me.
In every case, I have approached each role with a philosophy of caring for all in our community, and yet doing it with sound fiscal thinking as my guide. These are critical times in Sioux Falls. What we do now as a City will impact our community’s future for decades to come.
But in order to be an effective City Councilor from the Southeast District, I need your help. I need your vote on April 13! Absentee voting is available at the Minnehaha County Auditor's office, Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm and on Saturday, April 10 from 8am - 12pm.
